APR_9_18_DAD_GBRG_Ward Council today has been...

 Dad!!

I thought of you as soon as they made the High Priests announcement. Man, I'm sure it was probably a hectic Sunday. We had the opportunity to be in the same meeting with the High Priests yesterday, and Man was it weird. A lot of our elders were out of town yesterday for school, so the High Priests kind of took over the entire Quorum. It was interesting to hear their point of views on things, however. I'm glad that you were relieved if your job, although it sounds to me like you quite enjoyed your calling!! Do you think perhaps you'll get called to the Elders Quorum presidency? Who are you responsible for for ministering?

When I was watching this Priesthood session last weekend, sitting there in the dark Chapel, I had one thought cross my mind. I MISS MY DAD. I miss those times we would go to the Priesthood session, and then go out to eat afterwards. Then talk about the talks, the feelings that we felt. I even wrote down 'I Miss My dad.' in my notes (picture included). It was a dang good conference session, though, wasn't it?? I absolutely loved it.

Anyways, I don't have much time. Love you Dad!! Hope you're doing alright!!

Qué tal Elder Gonzales (April 8, 2018),

Qué tal Jacob,

Ward Council today has been an interesting one. I said bye and offer to pray for the Ward Council members—while having their future meetings—from the coziness of my bed. Sister Davies—Primary President—mentioned that when she heard of the changes she said that she can have me in the Primary. I don’t really mind working in the Primary Organization because I know that I can make some contribution on that province. I think, in fact I know, that Mommy can help tremendously in the Primary as no one else can, because of her talents and skills to manage and teach such a peculiar group. We’ll see!

I’m really glad that Elder Li and you are getting along so well. Every companion in the mission has the potential to be a great companion. You do what is in your side and the Lord will send you the right companion for you according to your circumstances, talents and limitations. The Lord, I know, will polish you as you have no idea. When I talked about companion I’m not limiting my reach to the Mission, I’m also talking about a companion for life, and why not, for eternities. He knows you individually and knows what you need now in this precise time of your life. And if you get transfer this April 25th, I know that you will be working with the right person to invite more souls to partake of the blessings of the Gospel. But, not just that, you will be also working in a place where the Lord has designated to “trust in [your] sickle with [your] might” so the blessings will come your way. He already has people prepared to hear you both.

Continue to seek for inspiration of he Holy Ghost to teach your investigators as well as to lead your life.

I hope that Bri and Diane continue to progress in their way to make eternal covenants with our Heavenly Father.

Enjoy your P-Day! I love you Buddy!
