Hey Everybody!!
Guess what, my friends?? I'm sticking around Greensburg for another transfer!! THANK GOODNESS. I'm glad that I have the opportunity to serve them for a little while longer. I've made so many great friends here (including my companion, Elder Li), so I would have been pretty bummed if I had to leave. Especially since two of my investigators, Bri and Diane, will be getting baptized this weekend!!
At the same time, it's kinda crazy to think that I'll be here in Greensburg for another 6 weeks. In fact, I'm approaching a year on the mission, and I'll be celebrating my hump day at the end of this transfer. I'm barely in my SECOND area. Like, what the heck?? Not that I'm complaining or anything.
We had the privilege of witnessing Bri and Diane be interviewed for baptism this week. Man, when I saw them walk into the room with the Zone Leaders, I felt like I was dropping my kid off for their first day of school. I have taught them all that I could, and have been amazed at their progression in such a short period of time. But I just had to allow them to be self reliant, and to develop their testimonies on their own. When they came out of the room, the Zone Leaders announced that they had each passed with flying colors!! Apparently each time they asked them an interview question, they simply started testifying of each commandment, and how they know it is true.
Goodness. That's what I like to hear.
They're gonna make such excellent members of the church. I know that this gospel is true. I know they know it. And there's no better feeling.
