MAY_6_19_GROUP_TOW_Week of May 6, 2019
Hey everyone!
Hope you're all doing well! Unfortunately, I don't have a ton of time to write this week, but I'll have tons of pictures! Thst makes up for it, right?? RIGHT?
I do want to share a quick experience, though. You all know I love Art. One of my favorite Inspirational Message videos is called, "Create" which features a talk by Elder Uchtdorf. He talks about how we all have an innate desire to create things, because we are sons and daughters of the most creative being in the Universe, God. Well, I watched it this week and felt very strongly prompted that I needed to share it with a woman named Sister Lehman in my ward. Sister Lehman is one of the most creative people I know. She is a portrait photographer and took pictures of me a little while back, if you remember.
Anyways, I sent it to her, letting her know that I wasn't sure why I was doing this, but that I felt that I should. She loved the video and thanked me so much for it.
Then, yesterday she gave a talk in Stake Conference. The talk was all about loving yourself. As I was sitting there listening to her, I notice something. She is quoting the video that I sent her! She's talking all about how are bodies are masterpieces, designed by an infinite and omniscient God. That's almost a direct quote from Elder Uchtdorf's talk. I was like, HEY! I know where that's from!
I talked to her about it afterwards and she told me that when I showed her the video, she didn't even know that she was giving a talk. The day later, she found out, and what she was speaking on. And her mind instantly went to thst video I sent to her. And she used it!
I was helped out immensely by her talk. And I also learned a valuable lesson, or at least reinforced an old one. LISTEN TO THE SPIRIT. If you don't, you'll never know what blessings you might have missed. But if you do, you'll always recognize the blessings.

6-7) Sister Gibbons drew an adorable picture of our district. Then Sister Hobson asked me to draw one. This is what I came up with. I'm already getting the t-shirts printed
