Mom!
It was such a blessing talking to you last week. I've missed that. Thanks for being so understanding and loving with the whole situation. You're a great mom. The best in the world, in fact. I love you more than I can adequately express in words. Just know that I love and appreciate you. Dad, the same goes for you. Talking with each of you last week was exactly what I needed. I can't wait to go home and be with you and catch up. Y'all are fantastic.
I'm happy to say that I'm doing much better this week. The headaches are not totally gone, but they're a lot less frequent. I feel a lot more content and confident in myself this week. A large part of that is Elder Seeley. I think we were able to make major headway in unity as a companionship this week. He suffers through SO MANY of the things I suffered with at the beginning of my mission. Its a privilege to be able to impart some of my wisdom to him, help him recognize the Son of God that he is, and that his efforts are enough. He asked me to give him a blessing yesterday and I feel that it was one of the best blessings I've ever given. I felt the Spirit coarsing through me, and knew that what I was saying was inspired of God. It's such a blessing to be a worthy Priesthood holder and to serve others in that capacity.
I'm glad people in the ward are recognizing my absence! Brother Gardner wrote me an email last week! I'm glad that my weekly emails are having SOME sort of impact on SOMEONE.
I've only seen one of the Safetyzone videos, unfortunately :( I watched it at the church with their wifi. Elder Seeley and I have already used up all of our mobile data for the month and it doesn't get renewed until the 9th. So we can't watch them here at our apartment. I'm excited to watch the rest, though! I was FREAKING OUT when I heard about them! I was like fangirling hardcore. I've missed those guys and their humor so much. I really love them a ton and can't wait to hopefully work with them after my mission. Elder Seeley was just laughing at me the entire time I was watching a video. They did a good job. They're not actors by trade, but they're picking it up.
My investigator Stu has been keeping me up to date on Gonzaga. Sounds like they're virtually unbeatable this year. I'm pleased that they're number one now. I hope they win the tournament. They deserve it. Bring some good publicity to the West Coast Conference.
Speaking of Granny, can you send me her phone number? I read her weekly email this week and she seems discouraged. I would really love to call her and let her know that she's loved. I've missed her quite a bit. I don't know if I'll call her this week, but I'd love to have it so I can call her as soon as possible.
Hope the field trip goes well. I know you hate it. But when you see a taxidermy lamb eating some kids shoelaces, think of me.
Hmm... I've basically covered my entire week during my weekly email to the masses. It's been a good week, which I'm very grateful for. Things are looking up in this area! I hope that I'll be able to continue improving!
