JAN_7_19_JOHN_TOW_Letter #101
John,
Nope, I haven't set any New Years resolutions. I haven't even though about sending any, to be quite honest. My mind is so focused on the mission, and not on what will happen after. I started thinking about college last night, and the post mission life, and it freaked me out a bit. Obviously, I'm excited to come home, but signing up for classes and getting a job and stuff does not sound appealing to me right now haha.
Have you been to the temple since the new changes were made to the endowment? I hear mixed reviews about it. I don't know how I feel about it. I don't know what exactly is changed, but I'm sure it was inspired of God, even if a lot of people are criticizing that it was just the church responding to feminist criticism. The church has never changed its views due to influences from the outside world, especially regarding homosexuality, abortion, etc. I trust that that's still true. I don't pretend to understand the ways of God.
Everything just seemed short this past Sunday. Really rushed, or at least it felt like it. Like I explained to Sarah, I miss Gospel Principles as well. I felt like it was a lot more beneficial for Investigators than just having one big class for everyone where they talk about deep doctrine and stuff.
I wish I could see your editing skills! I'm sure you're doing awesome with it! You're gonna be a YouTube Star!
I watched the Feature Length Restoration video with one of my Investigators a few days ago! Its a great movie which really helps to highlight how good of a guy Joseph was. Kudos to you in participating in missionary work in the ward!
Yes, I know what mocos de gorilla is. Gorilla Snot gel. Man, that stuff is radioactive. How strong is it, really? Is it water soluble?
I miss tennis :( I heard Roger Federer beat Serena Williams in a mixed double match at Perth a few weeks ago. Serves her right. Now we know who's really the best, male or female.

Love you. Thanks for everything.
