Dear Jacob,
1. Thank you so much for letting me borrow the sax. I have to commit to practicing. I literally haven't opened it yet, lol. We put it by the dresser and I was afraid that I would trip over it in the middle of the night so I moved it to the corner. Well, I guess the saying out of sight out of mind is true because some days I forget that I have one now to learn. I think I'm just going to get a really awesome jazz playlist to listen to at work and that will make me yearn to,play the sax for rizzles.
2. Only a slight rebuke. Don't say self-deprecating stuff, even in jest. I am referring to you saying you wouldn't want to be jinxed as a trainer again and destroy another missionary. There's a reason God called you. I have no doubt you did your best and relies on him, so trust in his purposes. Some people never know the reasons why God has them,do strange, difficult or particularly inadequate things until the next life. Trust more in God than in your own failings and weaknesses. His gracr is sufficient for you.
Also, whatsoever you do unto one of the least of anyone is done to God. That includes things said to,yourself. You wouldn't say some other trainer ruined a missionary, right? You would likely see that person the way God does...with love and compassion. So see yourself that way also. You are a precious, valued treasure to our Father in Heaven and he wouldn't want anyone saying such negative (and untrue) things to his children. Be positive with everyone, yourself included in thought word and action. Those are all signs of faith.
Thank you so much for listening to,my counsel. I know it seems little, but by small changes, great things are great things brought to,pass
Keep being super wonderful like you always are!!
Love you bunches BFAM,
Sarah
