DEC_25_17_MOM_GBRG_Merry Christmas (almost) from Mom

Hi Buddy Boy!

I debated as to whether or not I should write to you since tomorrow we get to talk to you buy I decided to go ahead and write although it may be a short letter this week.

So, I’m assuming that the 9 a.m. time for video chatting is still on since we haven’t heard otherwise.  You didn’t tell us, however, how we’re going to chat; meaning are you going to call us on Skype, Messenger, or what?  Let us know beforehand if you can.

It has been a nice week since we have not had to work or go to school.  We went and picked Sarah up in Long Beach on Monday and it has been fun having her home.  We’ve spent time just watching movies, etc.  She started not feeling real great a couple of days after she got here.  We all have been sick at one time or another in the last few days.  The norm seems to be a headache and a small fever as well as a runny nose.  Fortunately, she’s feeling better now.  Unfortunately, I think that Sarah T. caught whatever we had from us as she started feeling sick last night.  I just hope that Briana doesn’t get it.

Obviously, Tony and Briana are here now.  They got here yesterday afternoon.  It has been fun having them here as well.  Now the only hole that we need to fill is the one that you created when you left for your mission.  As nice as it is to have everyone else home, we still miss you like crazy.

I enjoyed another picture that Brother Stanley sent out this morning of you and the other missionaries in the ward.  That is so nice of him to do that and always makes my day.  Be sure and let him know that when you see him.

We just had Sacrament Meeting today for our Sunday meetings.  Did you do that as well where you are? It was nice to visit with everyone after the meeting for a few minutes and not feel rushed to get to Sunday School.  Sam Kay gave his homecoming talk today.  Both of the girls mentioned that he seems like a different person now that he has been on a mission.  They said that he was always really quiet and never really said much.  Now he is a much more outgoing person who seems more confident.

In addition to our regular festivities that we have on Christmas Eve, we have been invited to Lucy and Jesus’ house on Christmas day for dinner.  Tomorrow is Jesus’ birthday and so they plan on having all of us to dinner.  I was thinking that we were going to have to do the Christmas dinner for everyone again this year but then Lucy stepped up and offered.  If someone offers to feed me you don’t have to ask me twice!  I believe that they’re also planning on doing something on the 26th for Wiwa’s birthday.  I’m not sure what anyone is planning to serve but I’m sure that it will be delicious.

Well, I’ll stop the madness for now.  I am so looking forward to seeing your beautiful face tomorrow.  I love you sooooooooooooo much.  See you tomorrow.

Love,

Mom
